Warren Robert Young, age 69, of Stratford passed away peacefully at University Hospital, London on January 28, 2024. Born in Cobourg, son of the late Art and Natalie Young.
Beloved husband for 41 years of Faye (Weeks). Loving father of Arden Young (James) and Chantal Young. Grandfather of Jackson. Brother of Brian Young and David Young (Christine) and their families and brother-in-law Terry Weeks (Sharon).
Predeceased by his twin brother Edward Andrew (Ward) Young in infancy.
Warren was a member of St. James – Tecumseh Lodge #73 AF & AM. He was Past District Deputy Grand Master and was recipient of the Order of the Purple Cross. Warren’s working career took him from Eddies to Smith Shoe Store, Bell, Perth Communications, owned and operated The Shoe Box and then drove a School Bus.
Friends and relatives are invited to the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Sunday, February 18, from 1-4 p.m. with words of remembrance at 2:30 p.m. A Masonic Lodge Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 12:30 p.m.
