Marguerite Hilcox (nee Astephen) in her 105th year, with loving family by her side, was welcomed into her heavenly home.
Predeceased by her husband Clarence, son Phillip, grandson Matthew Kress and great grandson Liam Anstett. Loving mother of Beth Ann Kress (Randy), Janet Davidson (Ronald), Alan Hilcox (Judy), Trish Gnidec (Elliott), 16 grand children, 18 great grand children and 2 great great grand children. She is also survived by her dear sister, Rose Zukowski, as well as extended family in Cape Breton.
Marg loved spending time with her family, enjoyed many years of planning bus trips, especially those to the casino, and a good game of euchre. Her steadfast faith in God, her wonderful outlook on life, her love for her family, her true kindness and genuine gift of gab were her strongest attributes. She was a proud member of CWL at Immaculate Conception Church for 67 years.
Although we morn her passing we were truly blessed to have so many years of love from such a wonderful mother.
Sincere thanks to McCarthy Place for their kindness and care during Mom’s years there. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Greenwood Court for the exceptional care and kindness provided to our mother.
Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, 11:30 am at Immaculate Conception Parish, 50 Well Street Stratford.
