There was lots of action to be had this past weekend, as both Stratford teams, St. Marys and the local provincial junior teams all saw action.

The Stratford Warriors earned another weekend split this past weekend, kicking things off with a 5-3 win over the Listowel Cyclones. Colin Slattery, Cole Lewis, Dax Vader, Rhyse Brown and Hudson Binder lit the lamp in the win for Stratford. On Sunday, the Warriors headed to Chatham. Hunter Nagge scored Stratford's lone goal in a 2-1 loss to the Maroons.

The Strathroy Rockets defeated St. Marys on Friday night 2-1 in a tilt that saw the teams combined for 40 minutes in penalties and all three goals scored came on the powerplay. Luca Spagnolo scored his eleventh goal of the season in the loss.

It was a .500 weekend for the Stratford Fighting Irish after they split a pair of road games. Stratford lost 6-5 in overtime to the Strathroy Jets, as Dylan Buckholz, Jaden Peca, Zach Magwood, Colin Martin, and Graham Brulotte hit the scoresheet in defeat. There wasn’t any rest for the Fighting Irish as they headed to Tillsonburgh on Saturday and downed the Thunder 7-1. Jared Nash scored twice,  while Ray Robbins, Christian Polillo, Cameron Strokes, Ryan Obonsawin, and Brulotte picked up points.

Izac Blum provided all the offense for the Tavistock Braves, but a two goal effort wasn’t enough as the Braves would lose 5-2 against Wellesley. The loss moves the Braves to a 6-10-1-0 and 1 record on the season. Elsewhere, Zach Mccann and Patrick Holloway scored for the Mitchell Hawks in a 4-2 loss to Hanover.
