HURON COUNTY/MIDDLESEX COUNTY - Two individuals are facing drug trafficking charges after search warrants were executed in Huron and Middlesex Counties.
On Jan. 14, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Huron-Perth Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), the Elgin-Middlesex OPP CSCU, Brant-Oxford OPP CSCU, OPP Canine, OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT), and Huron County OPP detachment executed search warrants at two locations; one at an address on Victoria Street West in Exeter, Huron County and the other on William Street in Lucan, Middlesex County.
The search warrants resulted in the seizure of just under $44,000 worth of illicit drugs, including suspected cocaine and opioids. Additionally, $16,290 in Canadian currency, and $170 in U.S. currency was seized. Other offence-related property valued at approximately $2,100 was seized as part of the investigation.
Cory Dulemba, 46 years-of-age from South Huron, has been charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with:
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - opioids.
The accused was processed, and later released with a court appearance scheduled in the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich on Feb. 24.
Johnathan Parsons, 40 years-of-age from Lucan-Biddulph Township, has been charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with:
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine.
The accused was processed and held for a bail hearing where they were remanded into custody with a court appearance scheduled in the Ontario Court of Justice - London.
