Suspect sought following gas theft in Listowel: OPP

NORTH PERTH — Police are investigating the theft of fuel from a local gas station in the Municipality of North Perth.

On Jan. 18, 2025, shortly after 9 a.m., members of the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to a gas station in the town of Listowel after a vehicle drove off without paying for their fuel.

The person of interest and vehicle are described as:

  • Male, wearing black pants and a black jacket with a black face covering and red shoes
  • Red/maroon Dodge pick-up truck with a tow strap hanging off the tailgate

The person of interest and vehicle may have been involved in other thefts in neighbouring counties earlier in January.

The vehicle was last seen travelling southbound on Highway 23.
