One driver pronounced deceased in two-vehicle collision

Road 68 remains closed as the investigation continues

OXFORD - The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision that occurred on Feb. 20, 2025 at approximately 10:53 p.m. on Road 68 between 45th Line and Zorra-East Zorra Tavistock Line.

Emergency services, including Oxford OPP, Oxford Fire, and EMS, responded to the scene.

A 27-year-old male driver from Ingersoll was pronounced deceased at the scene. The other driver, a 27-year-old male, was transported to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation. The OPP West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) Team are on scene to continue the investigation.

Road 68 remains closed between 45th Line and Zorra-East Zorra Tavistock Line and is expected to remain closed for most of the night. Motorists are asked to avoid the area and find alternate routes.
