Police investigating two mischief incidents in West Perth

The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating two mischief incidents that occurred in the same area of the Municipality of West Perth this month, and is seeking witnesses or any dash camera or video surveillance footage.

The first incident was reported on Aug. 4, 2024, after graffiti was located on Perth Road 180, between Line 24 and Line 26, near Staffa, in the Municipality of West Perth. Words were spraypainted on the roadway.

The second incident was reported on Aug. 19, 2024, after graffiti was located at the intersection of Road 181 and Line 24, in the Municipality of West Perth. Again, words were spraypainted on the road.

It is possible that the two incidents are related.

The investigation is ongoing, and updates will be provided when available.
