OPP still hunts culprits who injured officer last December in North Perth

The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) continues to seek those responsible for causing injury to an officer last December.

Just before 8 p.m. on Dec. 6, 2023, during the course of an investigation on Davidson Avenue North, in the Municipality of North Perth, a vehicle driver drove at a police officer and police cruiser. The police cruiser and officer were struck. As a result, the officer received non-life-threatening injuries, and the cruiser sustained significant damage.

The driver was described as:

  • Caucasian female
  • maroon hair
  • black, thick framed glasses

The front passenger was described as:

  • Caucasian male
  • brown bushy hair and brown beard
  • wearing a fluorescent construction coat

Police have since recovered the vehicle involved.
