It is with immense sadness that Keith's family announces his passing on Oct. 19, 2024, at the age of 64. Born on Christmas Day, 1959, Keith is the cherished son of Frank Whaling and his late wife, Rose (Givlin). A good, generous and hard-working man, he will be missed by his siblings and their families: Marion Brown (the late Pat Brown), Erin (Umair Rahman), Robert (Jacqueline) and Cynthia; Ron & Mary Kay Whaling, Dyan (Marshall Lindner), Kevin, Jason (Vanessa); Mike & Janet Whaling, Amanda (Brandon Theobald), Shawn, Jeff (Andrea); Pat Whaling & Anita Spratt, Darren (Sarah), Kyle (Becky) and Brent; Sharon Whaling (Kevin Harding).
He was predeceased by brother Brian Whaling and is survived by Brian’s daughter Celina (Peter McIntosh).
He will be fondly remembered by innumerable friends and other family members, including great nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and a host of cousins.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St., Stratford, on Friday, Nov. 1, from 5-8 p.m., and on Saturday at St. Joseph's Church, 96 Huron St., Stratford, from 9:30-10:45 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. A reception will follow in the parish hall. Private burial in Avondale Cemetery.
Memorial donations in Keith's memory can be made to Community Care Concepts of Woolwich, Wellesley and Wilmot through the funeral home.
The family would like to thank the wonderful and compassionate volunteers and staff at Community Care Concepts for the support they showed to Keith over the last few months.
