We are heartbroken to announce the unexpected death of Bradley Jones as a result of pneumonia, complicated by Frontotemporal Dementia. Bradley is survived by his loving wife, Beth, and is the proud father of Blake (Tracey), Christopher (deceased 2005), Brock (Lisa), Oliver, Isabel (Branden) and Alexandra (Harrison). He is the second father to Erin and Amy (deceased 2014). Brad is also grandfather to Katherine, Sydney, Harrison, Luke and Tessa. Brad has a loving sister, Dianne, and many nieces, nephews and brothers and sisters-in-law.

Brad was born in Montreal and his TMR childhood was idyllic - filled with friends, sports and camp. Brad prided himself in playing varsity basketball at Carlton and Bishop’s Universities. He received his CA at McGill and started at Clarkson & Gordon before joining Peat Marwick. He moved to Toronto in 1978 and made partner. For years, Brad traveled the world for work. He has lifelong friends from many parts of his life. Wednesday golf games and noon hour squash games made his week. Many family holidays to Bermuda, Florida and Cayman Islands were also highlights. Brad was extremely proud of his children’s careers in medicine, law and education.

Brad was witty, smart, loving and generous to a fault. In the past few years, he suffered with dementia, devastating those who loved him. Brad is unforgettable, and we will cherish our wonderful memories of him.

A memorial will be held in Toronto in the spring. Thank you to the special people of Stratford who supported Brad the past 3 years, specifically Karen Wilson, Shannon Brown and the VON Day Program.
