Celebration of Life: DALE, Dr. J. Marie

Passed away peacefully after a brief illness at Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth, on Sunday, October 20, 2024. Dr. J. Marie Dale, of Atwood, in her 73rd year.

Cherished and loving wife of James “Jim” Dale, whom she cherished 51 years of marriage with. Devoted mother of Erin and husband Mike Doan, Amy Dale, and Lindsey and husband Mitchell Krieger. “Super Grandma” of Henry, Ryker, Hadleigh, Cheyenne, Carla, and Courtlyn. Missed by her sister Susan Johnston, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Dorothy Johnston, Bill & Marilyn Dale, Ken & Mary Helen Dale, Cheryl Dale, Dave Wettlaufer, and by her many nieces, nephews, friends and co-workers.
Predeceased by her parents Allan and Nellie (Wilson) Johnston, in-laws Doug and Helen Dale, brother Ray Johnston, sister Frances Wettlaufer and brother-in-law Barney Dale.

Dr. Dale graduated from Queens University School of Medicine in 1977 and began her family practice in the Milverton and surrounding community. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, baking, organizing and above all else, she enjoyed time spent with her family and her grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of her life will be held at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 7 Spencer Street, Milverton, on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. A time of memorial visiting will begin at 11:00 a.m.. Reception to follow. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery will be held in the future.
