Warriors suffer first loss, while Lincs look to stay unbeaten

It’s a seven game schedule for local hockey teams this weekend. 

The Stratford Warriors suffered their first loss of the season, as they were shutout 6-0 in Ayr Thursday night. They'll be looking to get back into the win column as they host Caldeon Friday night. Elsewhere in the GOJHL Friday, the St. Marys Lincolns play host to Pelham before hitting the road to take on Fort Erie Saturday. 

In the Ontario Super Hockey League, the Stratford Fighting Irish kick off their home schedule, as they welcome Elora to the Allman Arena on Saturday. 

Three local games in the Provincial Junior Hockey League this weekend. Tonight, the Mitchell Hawks do battle with Fergus before they welcome Walkerton to town Saturday night. Tavistock heads to Wellesley for a meeting with the Applejacks.
