Stratford gets home-and-home with Stars this week

The Stratford Cullitons and Stratford Warriors hit the ice for an alumni game.

The Stratford Warriors look to keep their winning way alive when they head to St. Thomas on Wednesday for their first meeting this year with the Stars. The two teams then square off again Friday, Oct. 11, when the Stars roll into the Allman Arena. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

Stratford comes into the game with a 7-1 record, while the Stars are looking to get their season on the right track with a 2-3-0-1 record. 

Cole Lewis and Colin Slattery lead the team with a collective 19 points, while goaltender Carter McDougall is 5-1 on the season with a 2.19 goals against average.

St. Marys hits the ice twice this week, starting with a Thursday night date in Sarnia to take on the Legionnaires. The Lincolns then return home on Friday when they welcome the Elmira Sugar Kings to the Pyramid Centre. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
