It’s back to back championships for the Sebringville U13 girls.
Recently the girls beat Seaforth 11-5 to win the C division championship at a tournament in Stratford.
“This has been the relatively same group of girls the past few years, with some additions, and it's great to watch them grow, learn skills and get better each game,” said coach Scott MacAlpine.
“I always joke that the championship is more stressful on me than the girls, it takes a few seconds for it to kick in when they get that last out, but once they realize what is happening its an amazing feeling for sure,” MacAlpine added.
When asked about a potential three-peat the local coach said “Right now I am focused on the off-season, but that will be next year's challenge.”
