The Provincial Junior Hockey League is now making it easier for you to stay connected to your favourite junior hockey team, as they announced a streaming partnership for the 2024-2025 season.

The PJHL entered into a partnership with NBC Sports Next and SportsEngine Play, making them the official video and streaming destination for the PJHL. The deal will see all 63 franchises in the league get fixed cameras installed at arenas, each equipped with technology that can capture multiple angles of all the hockey action.

Fans will be able to enjoy all the action on their computers or phone apps. The deal will see all regular season, playoff and special events put on by the PJHL.

“The PJHL is excited to be working with SportsEngine Play as our streaming partner,” PJHL Commissioner Terrance Whiteside said via press release. “The league and all of its players are looking forward to the prospect of showcasing the league to a new audience and connecting with fans across the country. We’re also looking forward to using the platform to provide our incoming Director of Player Safety with additional resources and creating more marketing opportunities for all our individual teams.”

The PJHL season kicks off locally Sept. 13 when Tavistock Braves hosts New Hamburg and the Mitchell Hawks open their season hosting the Hanover Barons.
