Hockey returns locally this weekend as the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League regular season kicks off.
The GOJHL has announced that this season each team will participate in Spotlight Games, which are special games sponsored by Collins Clothiers.
The Stratford Warriors will do battle with their nearby rivals the St. Mary Lincolns in two of the Spotlight Games; on October 16 the Warriors will head to the Pyramid Recreation Centre to take on the Lincs with the return bout taking place December 13 on the ice at the Allman Memorial Arena in Stratford.
Regular season action kicks off this Friday, Sept. 13 for the Warriors who will host the Elmira Sugar Kings at 7:30 p.m.
