Blowing Snow Advisory in effect for:
- Stratford - Mitchell - Southern Perth County
- Listowel - Milverton - Northern Perth County
Blowing snow expected today.
Hazards: Very poor to near zero visibility at times in snow and blowing snow.
Timing: Early this morning through this evening. New snowfall accumulations of 2 to 5 cm.
Discussion: A low pressure system will move into the area today, bringing snow and strong winds gusting up to 70 km/h. Visibility will be significantly reduced in blowing snow throughout the day, especially in areas that recently received fresh snow.
Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.
