Police are looking for witnesses and possible video after an altercation in the Municipality of North Perth on the weekend resulted in the arrest of two youths, who are now facing charges.
Just after 10 p.m. on July 18, 2024, the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received multiple 911 calls reporting an altercation at a community event on Perth Line 86, at Tremaine Avenue South, in Listowel. Two youths received minor injuries during the altercation.
Two youths have been arrested and charged with multiple offences. The investigation is currently ongoing, and more information will be released as it becomes available.
Police are seeking anyone who may have witnessed the events, or who may have video footage of the incident. Anyone with information about this or any investigation is asked to contact the Perth County OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or *677 via cell phone.
