Brian Christopher Waldie passed away peacefully at Stratford General Hospital on Thursday, July 18th, 2024 in his 55th year.
Beloved husband of Kim. Survived by his bonus children Michelle Truax (Kyle) and Andrew Truax. Missed by his dog Maggie.
Remembered by his parents John & Eleanor Waldie. Cherished brother of Phil (Julie) and Matthew. Loved uncle to Talia. Special nephew to Alan and Kaaryn Gough and cousin to Jason, Nate (Kate), Colin (Natalia). Fondly remembered by his extended family of the Heaths.
Brian was a loved member of Kim's family. Cherished son in law of Howard & Ruth Anne Pehlke, and brother-in-law of Janice & Trevor McLeod.
Predeceased by his grandparents Marion & Ron Gough and Vera & Al Waldie, and his niece and nephew Spencer & Lisa Waldie.
Brian was a member of the Stratford Cycling Club and Stratford Running Club. Some of Brian's proudest achievements were the countless marathons he endured, one of them being the Boston Marathon. Brian loved the outdoors. His home & gardens were his pride and joy. He will be sorely missed by the many lives he has touched. His smile lives on in our fond memories of which could not possibly be forgotten.
