Audry Harriet Knight, age 77 of Stratford, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2024. Born in Stratford, June 27, 1947, daughter of the late Ira and Mary (Ulch) Knight.
Audry lived in Iowa for several years. She was a social worker for Family and Children’s Services for the state of Iowa for almost 20 years. Audry was active in the Show Pony community raising, training and showing Shetland and Hackney ponies. She was happiest when she was able to be with her family.
Loving mother of Edward Power (Melissa), Michael Power (Juanita), Gina Zahra (Ivan) and Natasha Power. Grandmother of Emmerson, Jared (Tamara), Lydia, Oscar, Monica (Easton), Miranda, Mark (Alexis), Morgan, Marshall (Keysha) and Madison. Great grandmother of Bo, Maddox, Dustin, Dominic and Lilith. She is survived by her siblings David Knight, Donna Hansen, Doris Seaton, Richard Knight and Marie Brown (James).
Predeceased by brothers-in-law John Seaton and Walter Hansen.
A celebration of Audrys life will take place in the Reception Centre of the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 3-5 pm, with words of remembrance at 3:30pm.
