Warriors stay in fifth, but Lincs slide back into fourth for GOJHL power rankings

Ayr remains on top, followed by streaking St. Catharines, Fort Erie teams

The Stratford Warriors held on to their place in the latest GOJHL power rankings, while the St. Marys Lincolns have backed up a few spots thanks to their current losing streak.

After dominating the top two spots all season long, St. Marys (losers of four of theit last six games) has fallen to fourth. The Warriors remain in the number five spot with a winning streak propelling them to a tie with the Lincolns for first place in the Western Conference.

Ayr remains in the top spot having won 14 of 15 games, while St. Catharines claimed second after having won seven in a row. For the fourth week in a row, the Fort Erie Meteors remain in the third spot as they ride a 10-game point streak.

On the ice, action gets back under way tonight when the Tavistock Braves look to end their recent two-game losing streak. The Braves are in Hespeler to take on the Shamrocks. On Wednesday night, the Warriors head to LaSalle to take on the Vipers. It's the first game in a home-and-home which will continue Friday night at the Allman Arena. 

The St. Marys Lincolns will be looking to get out of their slump on Thursday head to Sarnia to take on the Legionnaires.
