The Stratford Warriors have the scoring touch going right now, as do the Fighting Irish.

The Warriors got off on the right foot Friday night when they beat the Sarnia Legionnaires 6-2. Hayden Frayne scored twice and goaltender Chase Furlong stopped 23 of 25 shots to lead the win. Aiden Wilson, Tyler Kelly, Cole Lewis and Dax Vader added goals in the win. Stratford then avenged one of their earlier losses this year when they headed to Strathroy on Saturday and left sporting a 5-1 win. Jack McGurn, Quinn Kipfer, Zachary Schooley, Hudson Binder and Vader took care of the scoring for Stratford.

The Irish gave the home crowd at the Allman Arena a lot to cheer for on Saturday, blasting the visiting Petrolia Squires 6-0. Jared Nash and Zach Magwood each scored twice, while Connor Hall and Cameron Strokes one each in the win. Goalie Zach Weir stopped 23 shots for the shutout.

Jaden Lee scored the lone goal for the St. Marys Lincolns Friday night in a 2-1 Lincs loss to Listowel. On Sunday, St. Marys got doubled up 4-2 by Elmira, as Chase MacQueen-Spence and Cohen Bidgood scored in the loss.

Evan Wallace scored for the Mitchell Hawks, but Mount Forest was too much as the Hawks lost 5-1 on Friday night. Mitchell then fell 4-3 Saturday night to the Kincardine Bulldogs. Elsewhere in PJHL action, the Tavistock Braves were doubled up 4-2 by Dorchester on Friday and then dropped a 5-1 road decision to the Woodstock NavyVets. Liam Gorman scored the lone goal in defeat.
