Two Warriors commit to NCAA hockey programs

Two Stratford Warrior players have made University commitments. 

The team announced both on Facebook, that centre Quinn Kipfer has announced his commitment to play Division 1 Hockey at Bowling Green State University, in Ohio.

The 16 year-old has 10 goals and seven assists on the season so far for the Warriors. 

In a statement, Warriors head coach, Dave Williams said "I'm not surprised by Quinn's achievement because I've seen how hard he's worked to improve his game. He's an outstanding hockey player, always eager to learn and get better. I have no doubt he'll be a fantastic player for BGSU, and we're excited to help him continue developing his skills."

The Warriors also announced that hometown forward Carter Petrie has announced his commitment to play Division 1 Hockey at Lake Superior State University.

Williams said in a statement Williams,"Carter's achievement is a direct result of how dedicated he's been to enhancing his game. He's an exceptional hockey player, always driven to learn and grow. I'm confident he'll be an outstanding asset to LSSU, and we're excited to support him in further developing his skills."

Petrie has five goals and four assists so far this season for the Warriors.
