LIGHT UP STRATFORD

Judges from the volunteer Civic Beautification and Environmental Awareness Committee (CBEAC) have selected the winners and runners-up in its annual Light Up Stratford Contest, which first began in 1994. Residents of Stratford and the surrounding area are encouraged to take a drive and enjoy thedecorations in the five Stratford Wards and the commercial/industrial/business sector. Here are the results. Winners are listed below with the runners-up for each Ward in parentheses.
Avon Ward: 990 O’Loane (102 Hossie Terrance)
Falstaff Ward: 186 Delamare (32 Eagle St)
Hamlet Ward: 54 Sprung Crt (430 St Vincent St)
Romeo Ward: 54 Morgan St (145 Grange St)
Shakespeare Ward: 18 Mowatt St (208 Maple St)
Commercial/Industrial/Business: Winner – Core Fuels 291 Lorne Ave East
Thank you to all the Stratford residents and businesses who gave so much of their time and effort to light up and make Stratford sparkle. Our judges had a hard time picking just one winner and one runner up in each ward. As you drive around you will see all the wonderful displays.
