Tim Hortons is spreading kindness again this holiday season with the Holiday Smile Cookie campaign and United Way Perth-Huron (UWPH) is benefiting in Stratford.

Monday, November 18 through Sunday, November 24, people can go to Tim Hortons restaurants in Stratford to pick up a Holiday Smile Cookie for $1.50 each, with proceeds from sales split 50/50 between Tim Hortons Foundation Camps and United Way’s work supporting partners addressing local mental health and well-being.

“We’d like to thank store owners Lisa MacDonald, and Megan Adair, Mark and Cheryl Moore, for choosing to support United Way’s work in Stratford through this year’s Holiday Smile Cookie campaign,” said Ryan Erb, UWPH Executive Director. “This campaign offers a unique opportunity to not only raise funds but connect with the community in a fun way. We encourage everyone to buy a cookie when you stop by for your daily coffee. And if you’re part of an office or company, consider ordering enough for your whole staff. Cookies are never a bad part of any day, and they taste even better knowing that funds raised go toward supporting the mental health of people right here in Stratford.”

“We are very excited to support the United Way with this year’s holiday campaign,” added Megan Adair. “We hope that the funds raised will go a long way in helping support our community.”

For bulk order forms, organizations and companies can visit perthhuron.unitedway.ca.

UWPH’s support of local partners and services addressing local mental health and well-being are one of the organization’s focuses in Stratford. Last year, over 8,600 vulnerable people received mental health support through local UWPH partners including: 211, Family Services Perth Huron, the Emily Murphy Centre, Shelterlink Youth Services and the John Howard Society.

Tim Hortons locations in Blyth, Clinton, Seaforth and Milverton are also supporting UWPH this year, specifically the Urgent Needs Fund.

The Tim Hortons Holiday Smile Cookie is a delicious, white chocolate chip sugar cookie infused with red and green sprinkles and adorned with a hand-decorated smile. Tims Holiday Smile Cookies are a great treat to share with family members, friends and colleagues who can join in on giving back to their communities, one cookie a time.
