There are many threats to democracy here in Canada.
Recent news out of the U. S. seems to show a credible connection between Russia and many "local" social media content creators through Tenet Media. Having watched many of these creators, including Lauren Chen herself from back when her personal channel was called Roaming Millennial, I find this quite disturbing.
This does provide the Conservative party a great opportunity to push (again) for a proper investigation into foreign interference into domestic affairs. It won't be easy. The Liberals won't want to out their own Chinese beneficiaries. We need to nip these issues in the butt now while we are still an independent country.
