My condolences go out to the Schnablegger family. I had the privilege of meeting Christian many years ago through his brother Walter when I we use to hangout at his parents' house. Christian had a great sense of humour as well as being highly intelligent just like his brother Walter. It was sad to find out about Christian passing away. For the short time that I knew Christian he will truly be missed to share a laugh or two or intelligently discussing whatever comes to mind.

I had the honour of being introduced to Gilles about 10 years ago through Ron Godfrey. Gilles was a true gentleman and a caring person. He was always in a happy go lucky mood and had a few good laughs to share at the ski hill. I will truly miss Gilles during the winter season in Sault Ste. Marie especially how he made his way down the ski slopes at his own leisure.

My deepest condolences go out to the family. I was introduced to Shellie Richards back in the 1970's by my father, Herb Lederer Sr., who is one of the original founders of Searchmont Valley Ski Resort. In the early days of Ski Hill's operations, Shellie would help out preparing the ski hill by climbing up and down the hill on his skis packing down snow which was the only means of grooming the ski hill at the time. In the winter you could be sure to find Shellie and his side kick Carl Mills tearing up the ski hill whether it be powder, moguls or groomed runs. Shellie was a fabulous skier making every turn of the skis flawless. I should mention that he did some great body work on an older car of mine as well as applying pinstriping on a new car I purchased back in the early 1990's. Mr. Richards was a very intelligent, thoughtful and kind person who will be dearly missed.
