A post on the Stratford Police Service's X account indicates that officers are assisting the Ontario Provincial Police with an investigation currently taking place in downtown Stratford.
The post from @SPSmediaoffice said that Stratford Police Service is currently assisting OPP with an investigation in the Downie Street area of the downtown, and then asked for members of the public to avoid the area.
An earlier post from the OPP's West Region account (@OPPCOMM_WR) stated that the area involved as Ontario Street at Erie Street.
