The OPP are investigating after a tractor pulling two large trailers crashed into a building on Main Street in Seaforth Friday evening.
The Huron OPP said the collision took place around 8 p.m. and caused heavy damage to a storefront and also impacted the structural integrity of the building.
Main Street was being closed between Goderich and Gouinlock streets until the tractor and trailers could be safely removed, police said.
The street remained closed to vehicles on Saturday but was open to pedestrian traffic to allow access to businesses, police said on 'X', formerly Twitter.
Police identified the operator of the tractor as a 23-year-old from Huron East. Police said the driver was not injured.
The damaged building housed a business on the main floor and residences on the upper floor.
The residents were home at the time of the collision but no one was injured, police said.
Police said the incident was still being investigated.
