Suspect caught breaking into North Perth business: OPP

NORTH PERTH — One person has been charged when they were caught breaking into a business in the Municipality of North Perth.

Just before 1 a.m. on July 24, 2024, the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a break and enter in progress at a business on Wallace Avenue North, Listowel. Police arrived on scene moments later and arrested one individual.

Justin Konarski, 30, of North Perth, has been charged with:

  • Break, Enter a place - with intent to commit indictable offence
  • Possession of Break In Instruments

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on September 9, 2024, to answer to the charges.
