STRATFORD POLICE SERVICE

On Thursday, November 28, 2024, the Stratford Police Service Street Crime Unit concluded an undercover investigation into the trafficking of fentanyl in the City of Stratford, with the assistance of the Woodstock Police Service Drugs and Intelligence Unit.
At 2:00 p.m. on November 28th, two males were arrested in the City of Woodstock by members of the Stratford Police Service Street Crime Unit and members of the Woodstock Police Service Drugs and Intelligence Unit.
The two males were identified as Sahil Kumar, a 20-year-old resident of Stoney Creek and Flamur Lama, a 24-year-old resident of Hamilton.
Both males were transported to Stratford Police Headquarters.
Sahil Kumar was charged with three counts of Trafficking a Schedule 1 Substance, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, and Resist Arrest and was held in custody.
Flamur Lama was charged with one count of Trafficking a Schedule 1 Substance and was released on an Undertaking.
The investigation resulted in 189 grams of Fentanyl being seized, with a street value of over $35,000.
