The Stratford Police Service is looking for assistance from the public with identifying a male responsible for a snatch and grab robbery at Paris Jewllers, located within the Stratford Mall, located at 1067 Ontario Street, in the City of Stratford.
On Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2024 shortly after 5:30 p.m. the Stratford Police Service received a report of the robbery from staff at Paris Jewellers.
It was learned that an unknown male attended Paris Jewellers and took several items of jewellery before fleeing on foot.
No damage was caused and no injuries were sustained as a result of the robbery.
The subject, who is described as a black male with a light complextion. He is approximately 6’ tall with a slim build. He has black hair in dreadlocks and was wearing a white zip-up sweater or coat, a black t-shirt, and dark pants. He was last seen running west on Ontario Street toward C.H. Meier Boulevard. A photo of the male has been linked with this release.
Anyone with information is requested to contact the Stratford Police Service or Crime Stoppers. A Community Evidence Portal will be linked with this release for uploading any video surveillance that is available.
