December 27, 1922 - January 14, 2025
Muriel Laurene Mundy, age 102, passed away peacefully at Spruce Lodge on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. Born in Hibbert Township, Ontario, daughter of the late Harvey and Violet (Boyd) Robinson.
Muriel was predeceased by her true love and best friend Ken Mundy, March 28, 2013. Loving mother of Ron Mundy, Dave Mundy (Linda Murray). Grandmother of Kaegan (Tracy), Dylan, Jeremy Murray (Bobbi Jo), Tanya Murray-Mundy. Great Grandmother of Cohen, Harper, Ariana, Aayla, Owen and Peyton. Besides her parents and husband Ken, Muriel was predeceased by her brother Lloyd (2013) and her grandson Brendan Murray-Mundy (2017).
Muriel was a lifetime member of St. John’s United (Avondale United) Church and United Church Women (UCW). We would like to extend a sincere Thank you to the staff at Spruce Lodge for the kind and exceptional care received during her two years there.
Family and friends are invited to Muriel’s memorial service on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St, Stratford, ON. Visitation will take place from 1:00 pm until the time of the memorial service at 2:00 pm.
