How can someone so loved by so many be taken away from us so young?

It is with great sadness that we lost Gaige to cardiac arrest after a 5-year battle against congestive heart failure. He fought a valiant fight for every Dr and specialist visit along with all the hospitalization stays he had. And there were many. He’d come out on top every time but this last one. His body was too broken and finally succumbed to his disease. Gaige had the greatest artistic ability from a young age. He used that gift to create beautiful tattoo pieces of art for many people. If you have one by him you are, I believe, very lucky to have met him. His family has many tattoos, including his mother Tracy, brother Kross sister Jazmine and his father Sam. He would light up a room with his laughter after some of his ridiculous antics or “inappropriate” comments, only to respond with “well you asked me”. He was stubborn to a fault with people, especially the one’s he loved and loved him. Which then made his disease harder to deal with. When he was born, he was the apple of his Grampa Zimmers eye. as my dad only had us 2 girls, he finally had his boy. Gaige could’ve burnt the house down and it would’ve been MY fault somehow not Gaige’s.

He like to call me MAMA and made comments about fancy things he’d call “Bougie”. If it wasn’t plain black with no extra colour, it was considered Bougie, which we heard from him quite a bit. All these things he was I wouldn’t change one bit or he wouldn’t be my “GAIGE” we all knew and loved. We took him whatever way he came that day, which made life interesting to say the least. He has left a tremendous hole in our hearts that will never be filled. And let me tell you... if he loved you, he loved you with all his heart, all the time, every day.

He has left behind his loving mom – Tracy Marston and dad – Sam, his little brother Kross Lupsor and Stepanie, Older brother Jeff Lupsor and Veronica, brothers and sisters, Dylan Marston (Jen), Josh Marston, Jazmine Marston and Dakota Marston. His loving Grandparents, Charlotte Zimmer, Mary Ann Lupsor, Mary Lou and Owen McCarthy, His Great Grama Irma Lupsor. Nephews Lincoln and Renton Lupsor. His Aunt Tammy Ford and her daughters Taylor and Tanna. His Uncle Eric Lupsor and Sharon and their son Calvin. Along with many other Aunts and Uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his Grampa Robert Zimmer (2017), Grampa Walter Lupsor (1999), Uncle Earnie Lupsor and Great Grampa Alex Lupsor (2000). He’s also left behind many friends he’s made over his short life. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. A special thank you to Steph Wilkinson (2-pher) for sending us the beautiful pictures and videos of him. He was truly the best around you and we thank you for that.

We’d like to thank Dr. Moore for all her care from the day you delivered him. His heart specialist Dr Van Oosten who did everything he could to help him. All the ICU staff, Dr Mazzetti, Dr Haffner and Dr Vergera. His wonderful nurses on his last stay Marin, Daniel, Holly and Maddy. Your kindness and support will never be forgotten. In lieu of flowers if you’d like to donate to the House of Blessing, he’d have liked that.

A celebration of Life will be held at the Army & Navy on January 18th from 3-7pm for all to join us in remembering the life of Gaige Lupsor. www.wgyoungfuneralhome.com
