It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Edward “Ed” Robert Koebel, age 68, on Friday September 20, 2024 at Woodland Towers in Stratford, with his wife and daughters by his side.
Born in London, Ontario on May 1, 1956. Edward resided in Stratford, Ontario with his wife in their home in Woodland Towers. He is survived by his devoted wife Nancy and their loving children Michele and Stephanie (Nick). Ed is also survived by his brothers and sisters Linda Van Der Wyngaard (Abby), Lynda Lovely (Richard), Dale (Kathleen), Wayne (Mary), Carol Bast (Joe), Doug (LeeAnn), Tim (Linda), June Boyes (James), Brenda, George, and Sherri. Remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
Edward is predeceased by his parents Edgar and Shirley Koebel.
A special thank you to the wonderful staff at Woodland Towers and the CarePartners nurses who not only helped keep him comfortable but also joked and laughed with him, treating him like a friend.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on October 27, 2024 from 2-4pm at Woodland Towers in the Griffith Auditorium.
