Wilbert “Glen” Allin, age 91, of Stratford, passed away peacefully at Stratford General Hospital on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Born in Dereham Twp, Oxford County, son of the late Charles and Iva (Gilmore) Allin.

Glen is survived by his true love and best friend of 65 years Marlyn Ann (Myers) Allin. Proud father of Doug Allin and Paul (Heather) Allin. Grandfather to Nicole (Adam), Robin, Jessica (Lee) and great grandfather to Rowan, Rhett and Kaleb. Glen will be remembered by his brothers George (Gladys) Allin, Harry (Velma) Allin, his sisters-in-law Mary Lou Moore and Helen Allin along with his many nieces and nephews.

Glen was employed with Perth Motors until his retirement, working in the body shop. When he retired, he got great enjoyment out of driving school bus for First Student in Stratford. The family would like to sincerely thank One Care Partners (PSW’s), Stratford Mobility and all the doctors, nurses and staff at Stratford General Hospital especially the nurses in the Dialysis Department. You care and compassion are truly appreciated.

Besides his parents, Glen was predeceased by his son Barry Lee Allin, his brothers Irvin, Jimmy and Ted and his brother-in-law Maynard Moore. In keeping with Glen’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and the family will celebrate his life with a graveside service at Avondale Cemetery.
