The Stratford Warriors have locked up a spot in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League playoffs.

Stratford took care of the technicality when they defeated KW 4-1 last Friday night. Quinn Kipfer, Kaedyn Long, Aaron Green, and Jonas Schmidt all scored in the win, while Carter McDougall stopped 24 shots. The win also kept the Warriors tied for second with Chatham in the Western Conference with 59 points. Stratford will be busy this week with three games, starting with a home and home against the London Nationals on Wednesday and Friday. They cap it off Saturday in Komoka to take on the Kings.

The St. Marys Lincolns remain the hottest team in the GOJLH, running their win streak to 15 straight games.. The Lincs outscored their opponents 12-1 over the weekend, with a 6-1 win over Strathroy and a 6-0 shutout of Komoka. They'll look to extend their streak and remain comfortably on top of the standings this weekend when they take on the Elmira Sugar Kings Sunday at the Pryamid Centre.

The Stratford Fighting Irish close out the regular season against Tillsonburg this weekend as they look to avenge their 6-4 loss to the Thunder from this past weekend. Zach Magwood, Ryan Obonsawin, Matt Fuller and Christian Polillo had goals in the loss for the Irish.
