The Stratford Warriors posted a split of two games this past weekend, balancing out a home loss with a road win.
Colin Slattery scored for Stratford Friday night but the visiting London Nationals skated off with a 2-1 overtime win. The Warriors then bounced back in Listowel Sunday, downing the Cyclones 2-1. Drew Hodge and Dax Vader scored for the Warriors.
Chase MacQueen-Spence and Owen Voortman both scored twice for the St. Marys Lincolns as they routed Komoka 7-2 on Friday night. A night later, Luca Spagnolo scored twice for the Lincolns as they beat Strathroy 5-3.
Sullivan Sparkes scored a hat-trick in the Stratford Fighting Irish's 7-1 win over the Delhim Flames, while Sean O’brien, Matt Henderson, Calvin Thomson and Christian Polillo had one apiece.
In Provincial Junior Hockey League action, Jacob Reid-Brant scored twice for Tavistock as they defeated Woodstock 6-4. Also on Friday, the Mitchell Hawks were doubled up 4-2 by Wingham. On Saturday, Mitchell got a hat-trick from Patrick Holloway in a 7-5 win over the Goderich Flyers.
