Despite getting their week started with a cancelled game against London, the Stratford Warriors kept up their hot play with a pair of wins over the weekend.

Jonas Schmidt scored a pair while Cole Lewis, Carter Petrie and Hudson Binder added one each as Stratford skated past the Nationals 5-1 Friday night at home. Hitting the road Saturday night to Komoka, the Warriors blasted the Kings 9-0. Chase Furlong recorded the shutout for Stratford, while Kaedyn Long led the attack with a hat trick.

Monday's Family Day game against the Listowel Cyclones was also postponed due to weather. No make-up dates for either game have been announced yet. The Warriors return to the ice Friday when they host the Strathroy Rockets.

St. Marys continued their winning ways with a pair of victories over the weekend; they got things going with a 6-2 win over the Elmira Sugar Kings, then dumped the St. Thomas Stars 7-3. The Lincolns welcome the Stars to the Pyramid Centre Friday night before a meeting with the KW Siskins Sunday.

The Fighting Irish's season finale against Tillsonburg was postponed Saturday due to weather, and no make-up date has been announced.
