One team is looking to prolong a lengthy win streak, while another is looking to make it two in a row when GOJHL action picks up again Friday night.

The St. Marys Lincolns look to extend their winning streak to double digits this weekend after they doubled up on the London Nationals 4-2 Wednesday night. Jaden Lee, Chase MacQueen Spence, Ethan Coups, and Lincoln Moore scored for the winning Lincolns, who host the Sarnia Legionnaires Friday at the Pyramid RC before heading to Komoka Saturday for a date against the Kings. St. Marys last suffered a loss on Friday, Dec. 13, when the Stratford Warriors downed them 4-2.

The Warriors will be looking for a sweep of their home-and-home set with the St. Thomas Stars following a 4-0 home-ice win Wednesday night. Dax Vader, Colin Slattery, Hunter Nagge, and Jonas Schmidt took care of the scoring for the Warriors in the win, while Chase Furlong only needed 15 stops for the shutout . The teams meet again Friday night in St. Thomas, and then the Warriors have a Sunday meeting with the Siskins in Waterloo at 1:30 p.m.

The FIghting Irish return to action for two games this weekend, starting with a Friday night meeting in Elora against the Rocks. It doesn't get any easier for Stratford as they return home for a Saturday night meeting with the league-leaving Alvinston Killer Bees. Game time at the Allman Arena is 7 p.m.

The Tavistock Braves host New Hamburg Friday night, and then welcome Norwich on Saturday. Elsewhere in PJHL play this weekend, the Mitchell Hawks play host to the Walkerton Capitals Saturday night.
