Students at St. Mikes participate in the annual live nativity scene

With the weather being unpredictable a tough decision has been made to cancel an annual community event. St. Michael Catholic Secondary School was slated to put on a live nativity scene tonight from 6-8 p.m. but Technology department head Kathleen vonEuw has confirmed that the event has been postponed due to the weather.

The annual event highlights the start of advent, and the birth of Jesus. The St. Mikes live nativity scene will also feature live animals as well as students from the drama department putting on the nativity scene, and other members of the school participating in live musical performances.

A makeup date has not been announced but when details are released they will be posted to our website. Currently Stratford has a blowing snow advisory and a snow squall watch in effect.
