United Way Perth-Huron (UWPH) announces an opportunity for people who are passionate about helping the community to join the organization as a volunteer reception ambassador.
“Along with our donors, volunteers are at the heart of UWPH,” said UWPH Executive Director, Ryan Erb. “Reception ambassadors are crucial to UWPH because they will help set the tone for everyone’s experience of United Way, and the tenants in the United Centre. If you have a passion for working with people, collaborating with staff, and helping represent UWPH to the public at our offices this could be a role for you.”
Reception ambassadors are responsible for answering direct phone calls, greeting visitors to the United Centre, and working collaboratively with staff and volunteers. Additional duties include accepting and processing donations, distributing and processing mail, scheduling boardroom meetings and more.
“This is a great opportunity for someone looking to make a meaningful impact through UWPH,” added Erb. “We invite anyone who is interested to fill out a volunteer application.”
