Stratford Art in the Park is hosting a tree planting event on Saturday in conjunction with the City of Stratford.
A young sycamore tree will be planted to replace a red oak tree that was removed from the park.
The ceremony will take place at 11:30 a.m. at the regular location and feature the usual variety of artists and artisans on Lakeside Drive.
Art in the Park runs Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m to 5 p.m. until Sept. 28.
