11th Annual Skeletons of Vivian Line

10 a.m. - 9 p.m. @ 3217 Vivian Line

Come check out the Boneyard to see what those frisky, playful, boney scamps are up to – 2024 sees the Skeletons taking part in the Olympics, so make sure you cheer them on. All money raised via donations helps Operation Smile, so visit www.skeletonsofvivianline.com to find out how you can help.

 

PA Day Fun at Stratford Public Library

2-3 p.m. @ Stratford Public Library

It’ll be all kinds of fun at the Creation Stations, so make sure you’re ready to tap into your creative side and let your imagination soar. Call 519-271-0220, ext. 140 for details.

 

Witches Night Out

Starts at 6:30 p.m. @ Grayson Mills

Ready for some wicked fun? Grab your broomsticks and head for Grayson Mills for an evening of magic, cocktails and food. Tickets are $100 plus tax.

Spooktacular St. Marys

Starts at 8 a.m. @ St. Marys

We’re celebrating all things fun and spooky with trick-or-treating, a pet parade and costume contest as well as cemetery tours. Cap it all off with a matinee performance by the St. Marys Community Players at 2 p.m. Visit www.discoverstmarys.ca for more details.

 

Festival Square Market

10 a.m. - 3 p.m. @ Festival Square

Come out and enjoy the spooky season with 20 incredible makers and artists. It’s free admission and you'll surely find something spook-tacular!

 

Wild Waters Music – Jamie Harvey

11 a.m. @ The Livery Yard

Local musician Jamie Harvey takes up her spot in the musician’s corner at The Livery Yard, playing her dreamy fusion of jazz, folk and pop music.

 

Downtown Trick-or-Treat

2-4 p.m. @ various downtown merchants

Grab your treat bag and head downtown for some great Halloween treats. There is a list of participating businesses at www.downtownstratford.ca, but make sure you check the windows for a participating vendor poster!

 

My Time With Bowie: An evening of stories and sharing

7-9 p.m. @ Riverwalk Commons

Emm Gryner toured the world and appeared on record with the legendary David Bowie – join her for this special evening of sharing her stories. Ticket information is available through Eventbrite.ca.

Bluegrass Brunch: The Blurry Pickers

10 a.m. - 1 p.m. @ The Local Community Food Centre

Join us for a one-time-only morning of amazing live music from The Blurry Pickers. You can also get a delicious brunch, flower crown making and a special bonus access market. It’s a free event but donations to The Local’s fundraising campaign are more than welcome.

 

Halloween Dog Parade

10:45 a.m. @ Upper Queen’s Park

Put on your Halloween costumes and join in the fun for the monthly community group dog walk around the river. Prizes for the best dressed dog and human are up for grabs.

 

Opening reception for James MacDougall and Henry Bukenya

2-5 p.m. @ Gallery Stratford

Come out for the opening reception for James MacDougall: Sharing Other’s Lives (Upper Galleries) and Henry Bukenya (Lower Gallery) exhibitions, as both artists will be present. Adult admission is $12, while seniors and students with ID is $10.

 

14th Annual Spook-Tacular

1-4 p.m. @ 3945 Road 160 (Mitchell)

The destination is Bert Vorstenbosch’s bush for this annual Halloween fright-fest! Admission is by donation and all proceeds go towards the future expansion of the accessible playground and various projects of the Mitchell Optimist Club.
