St. Marys Community Players: The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

7:30 p.m. @ St. Marys Town Hall Theatre

Join the St. Marys Community Players as they celebrate their 50th anniversary season with opening night of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased through the SMCP website www.stmaryscommunityplayers.ca.

 

Escape-It Stratford’s Annual Haunted House

Craft & Vendor Show

With more than 50 vendors on site and a huge bake sale to boot, you can’t go wrong by dropping in to Avondale United Church for their Craft & Vendor sale. It’s admission by donation of non-perishable food items for the church’s food shelf.

 

Walk ‘N’ Roll with L’Arche

Walk begins at 10 a.m. @ Upper Queen’s Park

Join L’Arche for the Stratford Walk ‘N’ Roll in Upper Queen’s Park. Show up early to register at 9:30 a.m. and the walk begins at 10 a.m.

 

McCully’s Fall Harvest Festival

10 a.m.-3 p.m. @ McCully’s Hill Farm St. Marys

It’s good fun under the sun, as the McCully’s Fall Harvest Festival brings horse-drawn wagon rides (weather permitting), a corn maze, pumpkin catapult, visiting with animals in the barn and a straw fort to the table. Admission is $7.50 per person, $6.25 per person with a family of four or more (kids under 2 are free).

 

Adult Holiday Paint Party

12 p.m. @ Knight & Clay

It’s time for the annual Christmas paint party, letting you customize a gift for that special someone. It’s just for the adults, so you can bring your favourite sips and snacks with you for a creative afternoon. A $50 deposit is required and then gets applied to your choice of project. Come out for a beer and some pizza while you kick back and listen to the lively fiddle of Stratford’s Dan Stacey along with the guitar of Kyle Waymouth. Adult admission is $30 while students get in for $15.

The name says it all. Tune your voice up, order some apps and get to it all you wannabe singers! Get to Gilly’s and sing your heart out.
