Winter Break Wind Down

2-4 p.m. @ Stratford Public Library

Time to get your LEGO on as the busy holiday season comes to a close. Head to the Stratford Public Library for some LEGOmania fun – just a reminder that children 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

 

Friday Night Silent Disco Party

8-9 p.m. @ Market Square

Dive into the rhythm of the night at Market Square’s silent disco series. Tonight it’s going to be kickin’ with the tunes from DJ Nineteen Ninety Nix. Limitless headsets are available and it’s first come first serve.

 

Friday Night Sessions

Starts at 8 p.m. @ The Bunker Performance Lounge & Cafe

Kick off your new year with an exciting night of live music at The Bunker. Ji Won Baxter, Martin & Joseph, and Lucas Smith & Paige Fuller take the stage. No cover for this event.

 

London Nationals at Stratford Warriors

7:30 p.m. @ William Allman Arena

Come cheer on the Warriors as they kick off 2025 against the London Nationals. Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m.

Gadgets with Guests

10:15-11:15 a.m. @ Stratford Public Library

Come take part in Gadgets with Eric: Digitize your Memories in the library’s auditorium this Saturday. You’ll get answers to tech questions like what a QR code is for, who Alexa is and why on earth you’d want to use a 3-D printer. Call 519-271-0220 to find out more.

 

Music at The Starlight

8 p.m. @ The Starlight

Graham Bedard provides the musical entertainment for you at The Starlight this Saturday night. No cover admission and the show begins at 8 p.m.

 

Lights On Stratford

5-10 p.m. @ various locations

If you haven’t already, get your woolies on and come check out the amazing interactive light displays around the city for this year’s Lights On festival. A list of all the displays can be found at www.lightsonstratford.ca.

 

Delhi Flames vs Stratford Fighting Irish

7 p.m. @ William Allman Arena

Can the Fighting Irish secure their 10th win of the season? The visiting Delhi Flames will do their best to make sure that doesn’t happen, so come catch the action at the Allman and find out for yourself. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m.

 

Taoist Tai Chi Open House

Starts at 10:30 a.m. @ 670 Ontario Street

Curious to know more about tai chi? Bring your curiosity to the Fung Loy Kok Institute of Taoism Saturday morning and let your journey begin.

Public Skating

2:30-4:30 p.m. @ Dufferin Arena

Grab your skates and head for the Dufferin Arena to enjoy some free public skating.

 

Free Snowshoeing

All day @ Stratford Perth Museum

Come out to the museum’s Heritage Trails and strap on a pair of FREE snowshoes to enhance your experience. Parties of more than 12 should contact the museum ahead of time at [email protected].

 

Drop-In Basketball

Two sessions, starting at 12 p.m. @ Stratford Agriplex

Got an itch to hoop? Lace up your sneakers and hit the floor at the Stratford Agriplex for some free basketball action: family time on the court runs 12-2 p.m., while the open sessions goes from 2-4 p.m.
