Saturday, Oct. 28

Stratford Farmer's Market (year-round)

7 a.m. to Noon at 357 McCarthy Road.

Organized by the Stratford and District Agricultural Society. Indoor market expands to outdoors May to October. Veggies, cheese, meats, baking, flowers, crafts, handmade gifts. Backbacon on a bun and farmer's sausage available via fundraising BBQ.

The Skeletons of Vivian Line Halloween Finale Weekend 

11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Vivian Line near Romeo Street (look for the signs). Skeleton merchandise will be for sale with all proceeds to Operation Smile. 

Spook-tacular

1 p.m. to 4 p.m. @ Bert Vorstenbosche's bush #3945 Road 160, Mitchell (across from FS Partners). Admission by donation. Supporting future projects of the Mitchell Optimist Club. Feel free to wear your Halloween costume. All ages welcome. 

Shakespeare Halloween Dance

8 p.m. to 1 a.m. at Shakespeare Community Centre. Dress up and have some fun. DJ, drinks, late lunch. Prizes for best costumes. All proceeds continue to benefit the local community. Age of majority required. Tickets $10 at the door.

Sunday, Oct. 29 

Stratford Sunday Market (until Oct. 29) 

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Market Square.

Featuring a wide variety of local vendors selling a large range of handmade products; fresh produce, meats, dairy, soaps, baked goods, and so much more, the Sunday market runs until the end of the month.
