Friday, Jan. 5

Lights On Stratford

5 p.m. to 10 p.m., various locations including Market Square and Tom Patterson Island, Stratford.

The city's annual winter festival, featuring a feast of the senses with luminous art and interactive light installations.

Haunted Holiday Ghost Tour

7:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. @Stratford Perth Museum, 4275 Huron Rd, RR#5 Stratford.

Described as a journey of otherworldly dimensions. Respectfully explore the vast array of energies that surround us with Trevor Bishop and Brother Chris from Haunting Live podcast. They are seen and heard on national TV Shows and radio stations across North America and on Spotify.

Tours will include onsite historical and supernatural anecdotes – some will be catered to the season with some chilling effects; instructions on sensitively engaging the paranormal; using specialized tools and skills in the field; and a question and answer period. For guests 18 years or older.

Tickets also provide access to entire museum and light refreshments. Supplies: All Included Price: $40 plus tax.

Saturday, Jan. 6

Stratford Farmer's Market (year-round)

7 a.m. to Noon at 357 McCarthy Road.

Organized by the Stratford and District Agricultural Society. Indoor market expands to outdoors May to October. Veggies, cheese, meats, baking, flowers, crafts, handmade gifts. Backbacon on a bun and farmer's sausage available via fundraising BBQ.

Quadro Jack Frost Bonspiel

8 a.m. @St. Marys Curling, 425 Water St. S, St. Marys.

Grab your friends and family for this one-day mixed bonspiel. All skill levels are welcome and there is always some great prizes up for grabs.

$180 a team. Includes two games, lunch and prizes. Draw start times are 9 a.m .and 11:15 a.m.
