Drop n' Swap: Home Décor – the DROP

10 a.m. to 4 p.m. @ Stratford Public Library, 19 St. Andrew St.

The Stratford Public Library is hosting a drop and swap event for gently used, unwanted home décor. Friday is the drop day, allowing residents to drop off their items. 

Saturday, Jan. 20

Stratford Farmer's Market (year-round)

7 a.m. to Noon @ Burnside Agriplex, 357 McCarthy Road.

Organized by the Stratford and District Agricultural Society. Indoor market expands to outdoors May to October. Veggies, cheese, meats, baking, flowers, crafts, handmade gifts. Backbacon on a bun and farmer's sausage available via fundraising BBQ.

Drop n' Swap: Home Décor – the SWAP

10 a.m. to 4 p.m. @ Stratford Public Library, 19 St. Andrew St.

Swap day for the Drop n' Swap. Donate to participate but those who do will be admitted to the "early bird" timeslot from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.. General admission is from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.  All leftover items will be donated to Goodwill and partnering organizations. 

13 Grandmother Moons Learning Circle 

10 a.m. to noon @ The Local Community Food Centre, 612 Erie St.

Facilitated by Patsy Day (Turtle Clan Oneida Nation). All nations and ages are welcome to learn art and stories at this free event. No pre-registration is required. Contact Matthew at 519-508-3663 ext. 1005 or [email protected] for more information.

Guided Distillery Tastings

11 a.m. to 4 p.m. @ Junction 56 Distillery, 45 Cambria St. 

Junction 56 Distillery describes its guided tastings as a kind of a distillery tour and tasting session in one. Learn about their process all while tasting all of our spirits. A Tastings tour is $10 per person, six people per session, for a maximum of one hour. Call 519-305-5535 to book ahead. To see if a guided distillery tasting is available other days of the week, contact the distillery.

Writers at Work: Meet Local Author Mike Smidts

Join the Livery Yard crew in the café for a reading and informal chat with local author Mike Smidts.

Discover the next generation of local artists and witness their growth and artistic development as they complete their high school years.

Karaoke Night 

8 p.m. @ Gilly’s Pubhouse, 94 Downie St. 

Karaoke is held every Sunday at Gilly's Pubhouse, giving you the chance to be the singer you've always dreamt of. Karaoke night lasts from 8 p.m. to approximately midnight.
