Friday, Dec. 22

Lights On Stratford

5 p.m. to 10 p.m., various locations including Market Square and Tom Patterson Island, Stratford.

The city's annual winter festival, featuring a feast of the senses with luminous art and interactive light installations. 

Christmas Carol Sing

6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. @ North Park Community Church, 382 Brittania St., Stratford

Sit around a fire and sing some classic carols with neighbours and friends, starting at 6:30pm. Hot chocolate and cookies. Dress warm and bring a friend.

Saturday, Dec. 23

Stratford Farmer's Market (year-round)

7 a.m. to Noon at 357 McCarthy Road.

Organized by the Stratford and District Agricultural Society. Indoor market expands to outdoors May to October. Veggies, cheese, meats, baking, flowers, crafts, handmade gifts. Backbacon on a bun and farmer's sausage available via fundraising BBQ.

Community Holiday event featuring Santa Claus 

2 p.m. to 4 p.m. @Full House Bar and Grill, 23 Albert St., Stratford

Free lunch, grilled cheese, soup, gingerbread crackers, hot chocolate. Santa will be handing out gifts and clothes, Mrs. Claus will read stories, followed by kids karaoke,, $1 optional donation at the door, proceeds to Stratford General Hospital Foundation Children's Unit

18th annual Holiday Shaker

9 p.m. to 2 a.m. @ Revival House, 70 Brunswick St., Stratford.

After the successful return of last year's event, organizers have decided it is time to go back to the mighty Revival House for the 2023 cebebration! Big lights, big sound system, great DJs all night long and delicious hors d'oeuvres served throughout the night. All proceeds donated to Wellspring Stratford and non-perishable items donated to Stratford House of Blessing. $20 cash at the door plus a non-perishable food item.
